- The Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) has assured Nigerians of reduction in the price of petrol soon.
Alhaji Bashir Dan Malam, the Northern Chairman of IPMAN told AllNews Nigeria that there would be reduction in price of petrol after a reduction in the price of the products at various depots.
In his words, “Now, we load the product at N490 now or so, compared to times back when we get it over N500.”
He further assured that though the effect of the reduction would not be seen in a day or two,but sooner than later the product would be sold at various Filling Stations in the North at a cheaper price.
He also added that because their drivers do not drive at night,thus making the days for the arrival of the product longer. He said it takes the drivers days to transport the product from either Warri, Port Harcourt or Calabar before arriving in the North.
