We are seeking a motivated and skilled Commercial HVAC-R Service Technician to join our dynamic HVAC team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing and maintaining , heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across various commercial and industrial environments. Your expertise will ensure optimal performance and safety of HVAC/R equipment, supporting efficient and reliable property operations. This position demands technical problem-solving skills and an ability to work independently with a focus on field service excellence.

Responsibilities

• (Refrigeration is a plus but not required)
• Diagnose and troubleshoot refrigeration and HVAC systems using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters.
• Install, maintain, repair, and upgrade HVAC units and refrigeration systems.
• Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design plans for accurate system modifications and repairs.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on boilers, plumbing, air conditioning units, and other property systems.
• Handle refrigerants safely, ensuring compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
• Maintain detailed service records and logs of repairs, parts used, and system statuses.
• Respond to emergency repairs and perform system upgrades as a priority during daily work.
• Utilize welding and mechanical skills for equipment repair and part fabrication as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in HVAC/R for service.
• EPA Refrigerant Certification.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical certification in HVAC or Refrigeration.
• Proficiency with HVAC and refrigeration systems, including industrial HVAC.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and experience with diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters.
• Ability to read technical blueprints and HVAC design plans.
• Knowledge and compliance with safety standards in refrigerant handling and equipment operation.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills in field service environments.

We provide on-the-job training to support your professional development. This role involves only local travel and functions primarily as an independent technician within our team.
