Who We Are
Bison Outdoor Products is a DFW-based distributor of outdoor living products such as grills, fireplaces, patio heaters, lighting, and more. We supply contractors, builders, and outdoor living companies across the region with the products they need to build incredible backyard spaces. We're a small, fast-moving company built by people who have actually worked in the trades, and we're growing.
The Role
We're looking for an outside sales rep who's ready to hit the ground running. This isn't a desk job. You'll be out in the field, building relationships with contractors, landscape companies, pool builders, outdoor living installers, and anyone else who puts our products to work. If you're the type of person who gets energy from meeting new people, isn't afraid to walk into a business cold, and wants to actually see the results of your effort in your paycheck, keep reading.
What You'll Be Doing
Prospecting and reaching out to new contractors, builders, and outdoor living companies across DFW
Building and maintaining relationships with an existing and growing account base
Representing our brand at jobsites, showrooms, and industry events
Learning our product lines inside and out so you can be a resource, not just a salesperson
Working closely with our team to make sure your clients are taken care of from first contact through delivery
Maintain and update CRM system
What We're Looking For
Someone hungry who doesn't wait for leads to come to you
Strong communicator who can talk to a GC on a jobsite or a showroom owner in a meeting
Self-starter with solid follow-through
Interest in the outdoor living, construction, or trades industry (experience is a plus, but not required — we'll teach you the products)
Reliable vehicle and willingness to travel throughout DFW
Bachelor's degree preferred but not required. We care more about drive than a diploma
