Parts Counter Person

Location: Berlin, CT Company: Tasca Ford Berlin Job Type: Full-time

Tasca Ford Berlin is looking for a Parts Counter Person to join our team. In this role, you’ll help customers and technicians find the right parts while delivering a high level of service. If you’re organized, detail-oriented, knowledgeable about vehicles, and enjoy working in a busy dealership environment, we’d love to hear from you.

What You’ll Do

• Manage the parts sales process from start to finish
• Assist retail customers and service technicians with identifying and purchasing parts
• Help locate and source parts that are not currently in stock
• Process special orders and communicate order updates to customers
• Maintain accurate inventory and help stock and organize parts
• Provide knowledgeable, professional recommendations based on customer needs
• Communicate effectively with customers, technicians, and dealership staff
• Keep the parts counter and work area organized and professional
• Follow company safety policies and applicable federal, state, and local regulations

What We’re Looking For

• Previous automotive parts or dealership experience preferred
• At least 1 year of experience in an automotive parts or service department preferred
• Knowledge of vehicles and automotive parts
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Good computer, math, reading, and organizational skills
• Strong attention to detail and time management
• Ability to learn and use new technology and systems
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Positive, professional attitude and strong work ethic
• Ability to stay organized and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
