Key responsibilities Write social media captions for video content across various platforms in alignment with the organization's brand voice Review long-form video content to identify social media-friendly clips for publication Draft posts promoting earned media coverage and contribute to the organization's newsletter as needed Required qualifications 4+ years of professional copywriting experience, particularly in social media for organizations or campaigns A strong portfolio showcasing versatility in writing across multiple organizational voices Excellent command of major style guides, especially AP style Genuine interest in and working knowledge of U.S. politics at the federal and/or state level Experience with brand or voice development is a strong plus
